(Statement)
We, citizens of the world, call on the United Nations, governments, and international organizations to acknowledge the legitimate right of the Kurdish people to decide their own political future.
For more than a century, over 40 million Kurds across Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Turkey have lived without a state of their own, facing systemic discrimination, cultural repression, and repeated violence.
Ignoring this reality fuels instability, migration, and conflict in the Middle East.
We urge world leaders to:
-
Recognize the Kurdish people’s right to self-determination under international law.
-
Support peaceful and inclusive dialogue to decide Kurdistan’s future.
-
Place the Kurdish question on the agenda of international bodies concerned with peace and security.
Peace and stability in the Middle East cannot be achieved while the Kurdish question remains unresolved.
By signing this petition, you stand for justice, democracy, and a lasting solution for Kurdistan.
